    Programmer Matt Burns has written a search engine for people to
     enter their camera’s serial number or simply drop any photo taken with their stolen camera on stolencamerafinder.com to get a list of web pages that contain images taken with the same camera.
    It is free of charge too !
    An execellent tool .

      Definitely wish I had this when my bag was stolen.  Maybe I wouldn’t have gotten my camera back in good condition, but maybe the guy who took my $1700 SLR would have got what was coming to him.

    this is a great tool. but could they incorporate GPS into this? I’d love to walk up on a guy shooting pics with my stolen camera. would make a great shot itself
