The Cool Stuff, it just keeps on coming!
Last week we featured "The Flash Mind Reader" and stated "good luck figuring this one out!" Well, Alex Sokolowski from World-Mysteries.com went ahead and sent us the "how."
Volare karaoke! Get ready to TRY and sing along!
BrianKaufman.net Interesting author site with a free novella. His book "The Breach" is the first novel to tell the Alamo story from the Mexican perspective.
Fanta Shokata! Brought to you by the soft drink company. Video clips from some non-English speaking culture that you get to provide the subtitles for. So much fun, it should be made out of chocolate!
Damien Storm Greg here at Cool Site of the Day saw this performer live in NYC last night. A mixture of horror music and heavy metal. A one man show. One guy alone on stage in an all-red tiger striped outfit with a mask on, his guitar, a smoke machine, his own lighting system and a sampler. It was out to the point that we were wondering if he was autistic or something.
================================================= Spyware Nuker =================================================
So many of you liked this last time, we figured we'd feature it again for those of you fool enough not to catch on last time. Your computer running slower as time goes on? (mine is, but that'll teach me to use Windows ME). The reason for that may have to do with online advertisers adding spyware to your computer without your knowledge. "Spyware" is a common term for files that are installed on your system without your knowledge that allow companies to monitor your Internet activity. What they don't tell you, however, is how these files can be extremely dangerous to your PC and could cause your hard drive to crash.
The folks at Spyware Nuker are offering every computer owner, including yourself, the opportunity to scan your computer to see how many "SpyWare" infections your PC has free of charge.

================================================= Cool Sites =================================================
Bonfire - TheFlame (CSoTD Feb 10, 2003) "TheFlame..." bad name for an 80s-style hard rock band's web site these days, but the site is fun. Play the motorcycle game and win a free CD or just oogle the rock star pictures.
Gigglestick.com (CSoTD Jan 02, 2003 and May 16, 2000) A classic Cool Site of the Day that we recently featured again. They constantly have new content and it consistently cracks me up.
Mister Roger's Neighborhood (CSoTD Mar 20, 2003) You know the TV show. You know the man. Now know the web site.
MiStupid.com (CSoTD Mar 14, 2003) Well, there's one way to find out...
10 Best Restaurants (CSoTD Dec 07, 2002) A noble mission to document the 10 best restaurants in every city. It'll be an invaluable resource once it is completed. Submit your picks!
Kontraband (CSoTD Oct 29, 2002) Movie clips, hilarious pictures, games, and more. A collection of virals (those things that everyone seems to pass around the internet) that are guaranteed to have you rolling. A Cool Site of the Month winner!
A lot of web sites don't last more than a year or two. Here are some classic Cool Site of the Day picks that are still hanging on to life:
Crime Scene Evidence Files (CSoTD Jul 05, 1995) Online game where their 'detectives' post evidence from the current investigation and users barticipate by asking questions or offering observations and leads with the ultimate aim of solving the crime.
Vietnam DeathTrip (CSoTD Oct 03, 1996) "A Photographic Journal of A Vietnam Veteran." Because it all can't be fun and games...

a = poopsie b = lumpy c = buttercup d = gidget e = crusty f = greasy g = fluffy h = cheeseball i = chim-chim j = stinky k = flunky l = boobie m = pinky n = zippy o = goober p = doofus q = slimy r = loopy s = snotty t = tulefel u = dorkey v = squeezit w = oprah x = skipper y = dinky z = zsa-zsa
Use the second letter of your last name to determine the first half of your new last name.
a = apple b = toilet c = giggle d = burger e = girdle f = barf g = lizard h = waffle i = cootie j = monkey k = potty l = liver m = banana n = rhino o = bubble p = hamster q = toad r = gizzard s = pizza t = gerbil u = chicken v = pickle w = chuckle x = tofu y = gorilla z = stinker
