What in tarnation is asinine poetry?!
asinine poetry is the journal of asinine poetry, a weekly publication of asinine poetry, poetry that is, shall we say, asinine. Meaning: Not necessarily bad; mostly kinda funny.
The secret origin of asinine poetry
asinine poetry began in Houghton Piker's mother's basement — actually, crawlspace, where Piker was living like Bad Ronald and working at a job with a wonky PC on his desk. He had lots of down time — actually, he made lots of down time for himself — and he discovered Microsoft Publisher on his wonky PC. ''Eureka,'' he thought, like many imbecilic and untalented self-publishers, ''this has potential for something.'' But, like many imbecilic and untalented self-publishers, he had no idea what that something could be. But one fateful night, there in his crawlspace, fading to sleep by the hum of the central air conditioning that was keeping everyone upstairs comfortable, two words magically juxtaposed themselves in his head: ''asinine'' and ''poetry.”
