Keyword Research

Keyword Research is certainly one of the most important things related to Search Engine Optimization. You can spend countless hours adding content to your website but without the correct keyword phrases, it can be all for nothing. Don’t let this be discouraging, there are many excellent tools available to help you find the proper keywords to optimize your website.

The right Keyword Research tools:

First and foremost, get SEcockpit — as of September 2011, THIS is my PRIMO SEO tool. It all begins with SEcockpit .

then (but not necessary)…

Google Adwords Keyword Tool - Available to everyone for free and provides a comprehensive list of keywords to implement on your website.

To gain the upper hand by identifying keywords that your competitors are using in their pay per click campaigns, check out KeyCompete .

Finally, I used to use Market Samurai (included in my Stompernet membership), but since getting turned on to SEcockpit , I have no need for it any longer (and you’ll understand why when you watch the SEcockpit demo video)
