Cool Site of the Day launched in 1994 and I’ve been its #1 fan ever since.
I have two goals with Cool Site of the Day: 1) to shine a light on all the incredible stuff happening online; and 2) to reveal everything I know regarding web development, Internet marketing, and SEO (great for kids/newbies).
I’m also available for one-on-one consultations. As I recently told a prospective client, it doesn’t matter WHAT your idea is, all that matters is that you build content around keywords THAT PEOPLE ARE SEARCHING FOR. So, WHAT are your keywords?? Which ones are getting traffic and, MOST IMPORTANTLY, for which of those keywords do you have a chance of appearing on PAGE 1 of Google?? (At this point, you may want to read this recent post I created related to keyword research).
For a little more background….
In 1993, I was the first person to promote music on the Internet for the major record labels. After 5 years working for the music industry, I bought Cool Site of the Day (1998).
I have been quoted in several online and offline publications including The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal and am available for interviews and speaking engagements.
I’m also:
- A music junkie (see my YouTube channel)
- An outdoor/sports freak (tennis, cycling, jogging, baseball, kiteboarding, sailing, hiking)
- Engaged in social action (Stop Violence Against Women, The Global Fund for Women, ONE.org) and the fight against cancer.
