About Cool Site
(NOTE: Welcome back! Just a reminder to 'Like' any posts that you find interesting)
Now, we (as in Mike Corso and Eazy E) don’t like to brag (well, maybe we do like to swagger just a little), but long before there were cool sites of the hour, minute, second, and cool sites of the millennium, we were out there surfing the web looking for the best web sites that demonstrated notable strides in innovation, content, and design and choosing one each day that that we deemed worthy of your perusal. Your daily ranking of each “Cool Site of the Day” determines which sites are nominated to receive a coveted “Cool Site of the Year Award,” and then your votes determine the actual winners. Like the old saying goes, this is a site “for the people, by the people!” Over the years Cool Site of the Day has grown into a unique Internet guide that features great sites and the best deals on the Web. In addition, the site publishes website marketing and SEO tips right here and via e-mail.
Also featured on Cool Site of the Day are lots of great deals, plus contests, free stuff and more just to show how much we appreciate your patronage. The bottom line? Cool Site of the Day is a valuable resource site where people come to start their surfing day.
If the astonishingly modest description above didn’t make it clear, let us just go on record and say that we’re not ones to toot our own horns. We like to let other people do that for us, such as Yahoo Internet Life, who said
“…the original and still the best, Cool Site of the Day is more than a mere list of links. It is required daily reading for anyone interested in keeping up with what’s happening on the Web.”
That said, feel free to contact us via email with any questions you might have as well as sponsorship/advertising inquiries, business proposals, indecent proposals and bribes (yeah, we don’t like when others take bribes but if you throw some swag our way, there’s a better chance we’ll talk about you).

Disappointed! CSOD promotion of energy independence could help us all but linking it to Pickens Plan is most unfortunate.
