What is the “Promo Code” and how do I use it?
Promo Codes (like the one above) are promotional codes that can be used to reduce the price of your Restaurant.com order. With the Restaurant.com Promo code above, you can use it by typing the word or phrase into the “Promo Code” box on the shopping cart page and hitting “apply.” Your discount will then be applied to your purchase. Promo codes cannot be applied to certain items, such as when redeeming a Restaurant.com Gift Certificate.
What do I do if I attempt to use a Restaurant Gift Certificate and the restaurant is permanently closed?
(Note: I posted this Q&A here because this happened to me–a local restaurant went out of business).
Although it doesn’t happen often, restaurants go out of business or change owners without informing Restaurant.com. If the restaurant is permanently closed or does not accept your Restaurant Gift Certificate, contact Customer Service at info@restaurant.com (include your Restaurant Gift Certificate number or code) or call them at 1-800-979-8985 Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Central Standard Time and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday. Their Customer Service department will exchange your unused Restaurant Gift Certificate for equivalent credit to Restaurant.com in the form of a Restaurant.com Gift Certificate. You can use your Restaurant.com Gift Certificate to choose another Restaurant Gift Certificate or Merchant Certificate from Restaurant.com. (BTW, Restaurant.com notified ME when this happened and directed me to their website to make the exchange. Sweet!)

if you want to drink eat and save money, restaurants are not the way to go. period. eat at home
